The Packers beat Seattle (big time) in snowy Green Bay.
Jacksonville and New England are at almost halftime.
Any playoff predictions

Well the Pats are still perfect. I think the Colts win tomorrow. As to Dallas or the Giants, it's too close to call but I think the Giants will prevail. Then Eli can see how he likes playing in the cold in Green Bay. Pats win the AFC setting up a Pats\Green Bay matchup. Favre wins his last one before he retires. Or, so I hope.

Dallas lost! :XXROFL:

Tony's still got his mind in Jessica Simpson's lap, huh?

So, next week we're looking at the New York (Football) Giants at the Green Bay Packers and the San Diego Chargers at the New England Patriots. I hope this sets up a Green Bay/New England Super Bowl with Green Bay winning the big game.

I think that would be a great matchup, the old guard Favre vs the Golden Boy Brady, but you have the outcome all wrong....heheheh. Can't believe the Chargers won, who would of thought going into yesterdays games that Eli would have the best shot at going to the Bowl rather than Peyton? Giants could surprise Greenbay with a stellar performance by Eli, but the Giants defense will have to be alomost perfect against Farve and i don't see that happening with all the injuries to their secondary. Packers 34 Giants 20 and of course the Pats 38 Chargers 10. I still feel the Pats are on a mission to break every record they can this year...19 and 0 baby!!!:D :beerbang:

I will cheer for Green Bay if they go to the Super Bowl. If they don't I'm still pulling for theNFC team (Giants).

I will not vote DemocRAT in '08 because your candidates are down to a socialist and a whiny little wench, who is also a socialist.

NE is 18-0, winning the AFC championship game today. We have to wait until the end of "Ice Bowl II" in frigid Green Bay (temps below 0 degrees, wind chill to reach about -30) to see who the NFC champ will be!

Patriots are amazing, San Diego deserves a hats-off for their effort all year long.
I don't care who wins the NFC game as long as it's not The Giants...:D

UNBELIEVABLE! HAVE YOU EVER?! :eek2:

The New York Giants beat the Packers in OVERTIME in subzero conditions. Now, THAT was a fantastic football game!

As a Bear fan, I don't care for either of those teams, but on one hand, I would have liked to see Brett win...then again, I have a good friend that I work with that is a huge G-Men fan and with his father very sick, this might help to cheer him up. But I will probably be in the majority of people here and will say that those G-Men don't have a chance against a team of destiny. Now, we're talking like it's almost racing season. One more football game in two weeks and then we will have racing again.

That was a very well played football game, especially played in those conditions. My son and I were cheering for the Giants while we were watching it. He was getting nervous at different times and I just kept telling him "Relax. Brett Favre is the career leader in interceptions thrown. He is bound to throw one any time now." And sure enough, he did it once and got away with it when the Giant player who intercepted it fumbled it and the Packers recoved the fumble. Then the Packers got the ball back again to start overtime and Favre did it again almost right on cue.

If the last game of the regular season is any indication, this should be a really good Super Bowl. I have a feeling that the Patriots could just blow the Giants right out of the game early. But you just never know. This Giants team believes in themselves and each other and they are on a real roll right now.

Just give the trophy to us now, no need to play the game....hehehe , Pats 38- Giants 13. Eli will crack under the pressure, and there is no weather issues for either team. Nice and warm for Brady to pick apart the Giants secondary. Sorry Giants fans but there is no way your team is winning....19-0 baby.:growl:

Hmmm guess there are no Giants fans on this board to pick on..:D

I'll be a Giants fan for the Super Bowl only. I can't stand Eli but the Pats have fed at the trough enough and it's time for someone else to win.
Pats 3 of the last 7. 4 of the last 10.

Giants have suprised me. I had Dallas beating them and then I thought no way can they beat Green Bay at home but I was wrong again.:(

I dont think they can beat New England but I hope they do.

Why don't you like Eli? Guess you don't like Peyton either?

anyone but the Patriots.

Oh now we all know the Pats ae the best, how often will you actually see something like this happen in your lifetime? I saw the 17-0 Dolphin season when i was a kid, i still remember a lot of the players from that team. I was fascinated with it when i was young, it was so cool to watch it happening even though i was a Patriot fan and still am. The Patriots have been out to prove that they should of won last year, they were on a mission from the start of pre-season to be the best......i think they pretty much covered that!!:growl:
