I'm enjoying this very entertaining trainwreck.

And it has been a trainwreck. I not a student of the game, but even my untrained eye could see the problems.
I hope the NFL and refs get it together and get it done.

It's not any worse than the "real refs". Just look at the playoffs a few years ago. The Seachickens made it to the Super Bowl because the officiating was consistently one-sided in their favor, and then lost the Super Bowl because of questionable calls.

I didn't real realize how bad the officiating was until I saw this video that Conan O'Brien.​

I'm fine with an occasional bad call because that's just the nature of the beast. It's the multiple bad calls EVERY game that's an issue.

Bad calls are not new and have been made by the very pros everyone seems to want back right now. Go back and study bad calls and you can find a plethora of them, some even taking a team out of the playoffs. There is no question the pros do a better job by far than the replacements, but what it seem people are implying is that those good old pros never made mistakes. I'd bet a five dollar bill that sometime during the rest of the season, someone will be so upset with a call by one of the pros that he'll say "bring back the replacements!"
