So the NFL is being ran by Brian France now?

Ha, Shiano is gonna talk about player safety when he attacks a quarterback kneel play??? Give me a break. Just like Goodell is gonna advocate for it when he's got players going on short weeks playing Sunday and Thursday for the sake of money and the league's TV Network. He needs to go away before flags become part of the uniform.

This one's for you kkfan.

A Dallas Cowboys player has been arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter in connection with the death of a teammate.
Irving police said Joshua Price Brent, 24, crashed in the 1400 block of the State Highway 114 service road at about 2:21 a.m.
Jerry Brown Jr., 25, a passenger in the vehicle, died at an area hospital.

Update 1:57 p.m.: According to police, Brent was heading westbound on the 1400 block of the service road of East State Highway 114 at a high rate of speed. His car “hit the outside curb,” flipped over and came to rest in the middle of the road.
Brent was responsive and talking to officers when police arrived, authorities said. Brown, the passenger, was unresponsive and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Brent was given a sobriety test and failed, according to police. He was taken to a hospital where his blood was drawn. He was then taken to the Irving City Jail and booked with a second degree felony charge.
It is not immediately clear what his blood alcohol content was.
Update 1:49 p.m.: Irving police have now confirmed that Josh Brent, nose tackle for the Cowboys, has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
Jerry Brown, 25, is the person who died. Brown is listed as a linebacker on the team’s practice squad.

In shocking news the Eagles have blown a 1o point lead to Tampa Bay.

I am a Cowboys fan but RG3 has my respect. A lot of heart, I hope he recovers soon

Happily surprised the Eagles hurt their draft position.

It's a sad day when I have to sit here and hope the Cowgirls beat the Bengals. So the Steelers can keep their wildcard playoff hopes alive.

Čo je dôvod, prečo autá majú vysokú mieru regulácie používať je správne

Oh gawd, here come the gun nuts.

Surprised Costas didn't call for the banning of automobiles after this weeks NFL tragedy.
Excellent point! When used properly, cars, like guns, can be a good thing. When used improperly, or even irresponsibly, they can be deadly.

Cars aren't designed with the sole purpose of killing things. Guns are.

And why is it anytime someone says we should have a discussion about the gun culture, it's automatically equated to "this person wants to ban guns".

He does have a holier-than-thou thing going on doesn't he.

I agree with most of what he said.

Unfortunately, we can't talk about crime and violence or any other social problem in this country without one side or the other side flipping out. This is a sports league where you get a four game suspension if you sack Tom Brady but you can beat your wife and face no repercussions. I know this is "off the field" stuff, but the NFL has an image problem and Roger Goodell refuses to take a stand on it. You have people running out on that field, being held up to the public as heroes, that have beaten their wives and killed people.
