Wow, the Patriots are amazing! I really think they have a good chance of going undefeated...I also think Miami can go winless. I guess we'll just have to wait and see :idunno:

I agree with both of those. Unless of injury, I doubt the Patriots are going to lose. They are doing too good! And the Dolphins on the other hand, are looking quite poor with not much upside. Although I believe there are better odds for the Dolphins to win, as compared to the Patriots losing.

Wow, how about my Bears? Hester runs back two kicks for touchdowns. I guess they didn't learn from the first one. :) Grossman still needs to be replaced, but he does make things exciting. It's a good thing that I can't see all of their games or I'd have pulled out all of my hair.

That was amazing last 10 mins. They wanted that win BAD

The Browns finally put a team away when they had the chance. I like to see them win in miraculous fashion every now and then, but this was nice for a change.

The Browns are now 7-4 on the season. The remaining 5 games on their schedule are all against teams with losing records. They could actually go 12-4 if they just win the games they should. I don't think they will win out, but 11-5 or so is still incredible after they went 4-12 all of last season.

If the season ended today, the Browns would be in the playoffs. I would have to say that the odds are excellent that they will end up in the playoffs when it is all said and done. Their defense is so bad that I don't expect them to go anywhere once they get there. But just getting there would be a great step in the right direction. :D

If the season ended today, blah...blah...blah...

You know the Nascar announcers take a big hit from a lot of people on this very board and fans everywhere whenever they say if the race ended now so and so would be leading in the points...
Just saying... ;)

:D

Jacksonville leads the wild card race. :bounce:

That's a team that's getting better and better every week. If they do good against the Colts (and maybe even beat them), I wouldn't be surprised if they went to the AFC Championship.

Ricky Williams' latest comeback lasted one game.

Ricky Williams out for year after just 6 carries
Dolphins running back out with torn chest muscle, agent says
The Associated Press

The Miami Dolphins running back will miss the rest of the season with a torn chest muscle, according to his agent, Leigh Steinberg.

Williams was hurt Monday at Pittsburgh, when he played in his first game in nearly two years. He returned following a 1 1/2-year suspension for his latest violation of the NFL drug policy.

Steinberg said the arm will be in a sling from four to six weeks and the rehab will take five months.

But Steinberg said Williams expects to be ready for next season.

"It's sad given how hopeful Ricky had been about his return to football and given the amount of effort Ricky had put into his rehabilitation. But he's optimistic and hopeful for the future."

With a winless record, the Dolphins were desperate for help and eager to showcase Williams in hopes of increasing his trade value. Coach Cam Cameron decided to play Williams only a week after he joined practice.

"My No. 1 concern coming into the game, when you hurry a guy back, obviously he could get hurt," Cameron said after the game.

The team was off Tuesday, and a spokesman for the Dolphins said they had no comment on Williams' status. Miami is 0-11 and plays the New York Jets on Sunday.

Williams was injured in the second quarter Monday on a play when he fumbled. After being tackled, he was accidentally stepped on while chest-down on the ground.

Williams left the game, returned briefly and departed for good after one more carry. He finished with 15 yards in six carries, and the Dolphins lost 3-0 on a last-minute field goal.

Miami running back Jesse Chatman sat out the second half with a neck injury, and his availability for the Jets game is in doubt. The Dolphins' other running backs are Patrick Cobbs and rookie Lorenzo Booker.

The Dolphins lost starter Ronnie Brown for the season to a knee injury last month.

Williams, the 2002 NFL rushing champion, has played in only 13 games since retiring in the summer of 2004. He has tested positive for marijuana at least four times since the Dolphins acquired him in 2002, and their franchise-record playoff drought began that same year.

Williams hasn't missed an NFL game because of an injury since 2000 when he was with the New Orleans Saints.

Miami fell to 0-12 after losing to the (stinkin') New York Jets 40-13.
With the following games left: @ Buffalo, Baltimore, @New England and Cincinnati ) 0-16 looks like a real possibility .

What's funny is the orignal 72 Dolphins want an asterisk if the Pats go undefeated (because of the video taping incident). Tell you what, there sure won't be an asterisk by 0-16 by the current dophins...the suck:p

Not a good NFL day...

The Redskins, wait, I mean Joe Gibbs gave the game away. He called two timeouts in a row and then claimed he doesn't know the rules.

What kind of MICKEY MOUSE BULL$#!+ was that?!?!

Dolphins lost again, no surprise there.

Jacksonville almost pulled off the upset. Peyton Manning's just too good (and let's be honest, he IS the Indianapolis Colts, which is their problem). I don't think the Patriots will go undefeated. They got lucky against the Colts, won't happen if they meet again.

I can't stand New England, especially Tom Brady. If they go to the Super Bowl, you know America will be cheering against them.

Jacksonville's still in solid playoff shape though.

Well at least Gibbs admitted the loss was his fault. Something that is rare these days...

The Dolphins really did a good job of keeping their perfect record going by losing to the Jets. This was the game that really scared me the most when I looked at what the Dolphins would have to do to go winless.

Going through an entire NFL season without winning even one game is not as easy as it sounds. You have teams like the Jets popping up every now and then that can ruin the whole thing. That being said, I have faith that this Dolphin team can do it. Outside of Jason Taylor, they have very few impact players at all. And now that they have avoided the biggest patsies they had left (the Jets) it looks like pretty smooth sailing from here on out. :beerbang:

Draft day should be interesting at least. Do the Dolphins have their full complement of draft choices and hopefully a few additional ones? I don't follow the fish so I don't know...

They will robably trade their pick for Ricky Williams.
