How about that...da Bears beat the Colts. How many people woulda thunk that? Indy was favored by 8.5. I'm just hoping dem Bears can continue looking as good as they did tonight.

Woohhhoooooooooooooooo!

I was shocked to see that game. I watched most of it and the Beasr just simply outplayed the Colts. The Colts just could not stop the Bears running game and the Colts offense looked horrible.

Is Tom Brady out for the season? Terrible blow to that dynasty, but great teams can overcome things like this. However, it's my opinion that this great dynasty has been on it's down slope and it's time for a new one. What team will become the next "unbeatable" team?

Wouldn't it be ironic if it were the Miami Dolphins?

Local news reports a torn ACL, put a fork in him, he's done (at least for this season)

What's up with Vince Young? I read where the Titans asked the cops to help find him when they couldn't contact him. Word had it that Vince was in a deep depression after getting hurt in the Titans win. He was scheduled to have an MRI done to see what was wrong. He was later found and it was reported that everything was a big misunderstanding.

So now we're to believe that even though many of his friends and family were worried about him and the team asked the cops to find him, that everything was a big misunderstanding? Oooookay! Something smells here. I just hope and pray that it really was a misunderstanding.

Could Young be the NFL's Jimmy Pearsol? I certainly hope not though I loved Jimmy. Just not his mental state.

This kind of reminds me of former NBA player Vin Baker also. Vin was very talented but not very thick skinned at all.

If Vince Young is clinically depressed that is a whole different story than his just whining about being booed. If you don't like being booed, then play better. It works every time. If he is clinically depressed then there are ways to deal with that also. It isn't easy, but with medication, counseling and perseverance it can be kept under control.

I've personally never thought that Vince Young was going to be even a marginally good NFL quarterback. He dominated in college, that is a whole different game. We have seen enough Heisman winners flop in the NFL to know that the game is radically different. He succeeded in college because he was bigger and faster than most of the competition. That certainly isn't the case in the pros. A quarterback has to be very accurate and make decisions very quickly, neither of those are Vince's strong suits.

I woulda lost the farm on that one.

Anyone watching Philly and Dallas??
This (halfway through second quarter) is an amazing game!

Yeahhhhh....how bout them panthers!!!
Hey, they are my second team and so I can't cry too much. As I said before, to me it's Bears first then the Panthers. I hope one or both make the playoffs and then it's fair game again. :beerbang: Too bad they both can't play each other in the Super Bowl cause then I'd never lose.

No, I didn't see it because my power was still out from the storms we got Sunday night. I was really looking forward to that game too. I really like Dallas and I really don't care much for the Eagles. It sounded like a great game too.

Bucky, we just won't even talk about them Packers!

GP, I've been down here now for 13 years and the separation has been fairly good for me. I used to attend one or two Bears games a year, but after the big Super Bowl win, the prices for tickets and packages went through the ceiling and I had to just watch them on TV...which I did religiously. Now they are seldom seen down here so I'm not nearly as close to the team. I used to know every players name and position, but these days, I probalby couldn't name more than five or six without banging my head on the wall. But that goes with age as well. :)

Bucky once again, we'll see how your new boy does when they travel down to Soldier Field. Hope there's a foot of snow on the ground and yeah, I know the Packers are used to that kind of weather, I still would love to see it.

Anquan Boldin was taken off the field via cart/ambulance at the very end of the Arizone-Jets game. It was a very sombering scene...to put it mildly, it did not look good. :(
