Okay, the season starts tonight. Who's gonna win? Let your choice be heard/seen now before the game. I'm looking at NO beating Minn again with Favre having a lousy game. My prediction,

NO 24 Minn 13
 
Minn 34
NO 33 last minute field go wins it for Vikes, Favre passes for over 300yds, and Petersen runs for over 100.
 
I hope tonight's game is every bit as exciting as the NFC Championship game in January was.

Yeh thought there would be a ton more scoring, who would of thought that toal points scored would be 23?
 
Jets vs Patriots any predictions? Seeing how I'm a Pats fan I'll say 33-21 Pats. I really think the Jets are overated, Brady will pick them apart on Sunday. Moss will show Revis up too.
 
unfortunately, i do believe you're right mopar. i've liked the jets (better than the giants anyway) since namath and company beat the baltimore colts in super bowl III. the current jets team has the bravado of old but aside from a few players i don't consider them an elite team. hopefully i'm wrong. :) pats win 27-10. ryan has a stroke on the field and benches somebody. not sure who yet.

Lol ...they are entertaining, but the Pats are strong, they have been slipping under the radar this year, and I think they have a chance of going deep into the playoffs.
 
Interesting segment on sports center regarding the Jets/Pats game.
Wish I had paid more attention but here goes. They've met 101 times, each has 50 wins, one tie way back in the 60's. As for points , after all those games they're both within 100 points scored, somewhere around 2100
 
The good game will be Baltimore/Cincinnati!

The Jets and the Ravens are both way overrated. The Ravens have a strong defense, but their offense isn't impressive at all (Flacco sucks). As for the Jets, the media's been sniffing their jock strap all year.

Jaguars Andy.....really? WTF....

The Jets are overrated, Rex Ryan needs to learn to keep his mouth shut, the more he talks the bigger the target gets on the Jets.

I think Ryan forgot he had to have some type of offense to win the Super Bowl.

The Ravens have good receivers and i think Flacco is going to be able to get them the ball all season long.

TN wouldn't be 1-1 if Vince Young got his eyes checked. Anyway it's nice to see the Cowgirls are 0-2. Can't believe The Viks are 0-2, Maybe BF should have retired lol
 
Revis makes a big stink in the off-season about wanting a new contract that wasn't up till the end of this year and now he's physically unable to perform.Should have spent more time on conditioning instead of worrying about money.

old football axiom. you don't lose your job because of injury. it happens but coaches will usually let a starter have his job back and if he doesn't perform as well as his backup did then he'll get yanked early. look for kolb to be at the top of his game or vick will finish it.

maybe, but i can't just look at him from a qb perspective. i agree he's the best qb philly has at the moment but his morals exclude me from rooting for him (and most likely always will). time for andy reid to go and bring in a coach that cam make tough decisions while attempting to bring some class back to the eagles. kolb won't be in philly next year. no way in he** will he want to stay there.
 
Doubt it Vick looked pretty good last week , probably one of the best games he's ever had. I think he has something to prove, can still play, and will be a big plus for the Eagles. That said... I still don't like the guy never did.
 
Anywho...Pittsburgh does it again...and without Rapesherburger. Bad news is the Cowboys won their first...;)
