P. S. QT, it is a proven fact that cats respond much better to names that end with an EEEE sound, like moosie, or my madgie:) PURRRRRR

That is interesting. Our kitten Scoop refuses to acknowledge his name. Perhaps we should have named him something ending with an e. Except my cat Whiskers comes everytime I call her name. Just like a dog. I think she thinks she is a dog. It is sad sometimes.

All very cute pics though.

Just try calling Scoop "Scoopkitty", but kitty loves a name ending with E. My cat was named Madge by a previous owner and never answered to him. I started calling her Madge a kitty or Madgie and now she just pays attention.
She was a rescue kitty who was probably badly abused, and it took her more than a year to feel comfortable, but she always liked the doggie. Now, she is a sweetie!!!!

Thanks for the hint. Our other cat, Whiskers, just caught on to her name really quick. We got her from the shelter where I suspect she had been on the streets for some time and was really wary of humans. Now she is a sweetie.

Scoop, our kitten, is a little stinker though. Which is to be expected. We call him Scoop the Poop on his nicer days and a name that shouldn't be repeated on a nice board on his bad bad days. Guess that really doesn't end with an e sound. I will have to try adding the kitty to the end.

Boy cats are notoriously famous for being S##theads and sprayers.

Maybe you should try calling him "scoopy":D

Girls are sooooooooooooo much better than guys anyway:D :D

Scoopy is good. Better than some of the names we have been calling him.

Girls are way better than boys. I think we have established this. :)
