This thread is to provide a little contrast to the "Bonehead Of The Week" thread...

Nice move by Kyle Busch for driving a smart, smooth race, coming up through the pack cleanly, to take the win from 30th starting position.

Nice move by Tony Stewart for chopping off the head, mid-sentence, of the ignorant reporter.

:beerbang: :beerbang:

Nice move by Junyer to get his first top 10 at Sonoma.

Nice move by Gilliland to get his career best finish.

Loved Tony's answer. Too bad he didn't slap him!! Stupid reporters. Will they never learn to not ask Tony stupid questions??

Nice job Jeff Gordon and Steve LeTart for getting car back up front after falling to 23rd.

I have to say, I was pretty impressed with Tony's keeping the car on the track and going when he got spun...

Actually he finished 12th.

Doesn't excuse Stewart for being rude.

I thought he was 12th, but then they had him scored as 10th, so I wasn't sure...

I thought Tony was right on to be a bit rude to the "reporter" as he was obviously trying to get Tony to say something stupid about his buddy Kevin.

Hey Bobby I thought you were a big Roush Man? :D What's the deal with all the shrub stuff? :D Are you a BANDWAGON jumper?:D

No, I'm still a Roush fan, Carl Edwards is my driver.
I do admire Kyle Busch, though, for his ability to drive and his will to win.

Kyle and Tony moving up to the front after starting so far back.

Kyle for winning. Though I am a huge fan of his, I did not think there was anyway in the world he was going to win before the race started but he dominated the race once he got up front. The kid is on fire this season.

J. Gordon for turning a 20th place car into a third place finish.

Tony for shutting Snider up. I hope to god Snider sticks that microphone in Harvick's face next week after that. I just can't wait to see Harvick grab it and "stick it where the sun don't shine, baby." :D

David Gilliland for running a smart race, and taking a 2nd place finish instead of wrecking somebody for the win, even if it was KYB. :beerbang:

Yeah I'd really count on Harvick doing something. 1st he'd look around to make sure there was someone there to hold him back. Then he'd puff out his cheeks and go all chipmunk on Snyder.

Yep, he made sure someone held him back when he went apeshiat on Biffle, and Montoya for that matter.

In the Biffle incident, Harvick made darn sure his guys and the Nascar officials were there before he started mouthing off at Biffle.

As to Montoya, iirc, it was Montoya that got the best of the exchange. Harvick just stood there and jawed while Montoya was close to getting physical.

If either one of them had stomped their feet hard in his direction he would have run off to hide behind Delana.

And, before you read too much into this, I like Harvick a heck of a lot more than either the bug eyed dummy or JPM. I just think he's all mouth, like his good buddy DW, than a man of action. I mean at least Jeff Gordon put a manly push on Kenseth for half the provocation and he's not looked on as being a tough guy.
