I'm not a Waffle House fan either... we call them "Awful House"...

But they are open late at night. Sometimes you take what you can find.

From 10pm to 6am in most waffle houses in most towns you can find people from all walks of life. Millionaires to the homeless.

I ate at one once on my way to Florida and a man came to my table and offered me his waffles because he wasn't going to eat them and didn't want them going to waste.. Nice gesture, But kind of creeped me out.

Waffle House is the chit, the only restaurant I know more keen to taking in the drunk and belligerent is Denny's.

I love them both after closing time.
