or so I hear.

Press conference at 1:00, but players are reportedly en route to lacales for tonights games.

Smart move on Baseballs part.I am happy for all the people that rely on baseball related jobs to feed there family. As far as the overpaid players could care less.;)

Being a Texas Rangers fan, my season was over in about May I think. :) Smart move on the players' part.

Next strike date 2006.

I would like to see the details of the deal. From my understanding there is no hard salary cap but there is a luxery tax and revenue shareing. I may be wrong but I think that is what I heard. I'm happy a deal got done though. We'll se if it levels the playing field some.

no details yet here, even tho Tom Glavin is the Nat League Rep, but no strike.
Do I care anymore??? NO

I'm glad, simply because of the little people whose livelihood depends on baseball.

As far as the owners and players, they could strike for the next 5 years and I wouldn't care.

Either way it didnt matter to me. IMO, Baseball is the most boring sport around. I doubt I would even notice their gone...

I could care less about baseball. but as long as the little ppl still have a job. but they better not make me weight for a nother race again. i was pissed

Lap3,How come you spell those bad words perfect,And mess up on the others?Did you go to two kinds of school?:p

I'm in agreement with the comments that TRL, pbunch and lap3 made, though I hadn't thought of it myself. Hooray for the working class that can keep on working, and to Hell with the owners and players.
