Like I said at teh beginning of the season , there will be quite a few races where the fields won't be full.
Allmendinger's good through Charlotte.Yet another blow to the cup series. Only 32 teams have a full time sponsor this year. The 87, 36, 34, 71, 66 are all small market teams trying to survive without a major sponsor. The trend as of late is multicar teams shuting down one of there teams and it doesnt look promising for the number 44 of Allmaindinger. Even though he is doing good there sponsorship was the first nine races and after that they are gonna rethink there operations.

As good as Allmendinger's performing and as poorly as Sorenson is performing, I think Sorenson should be more worried than Allmendinger. I could very easily see sponsors demanding a change.
I think Regan Smith is the better driver myself.I also remember that Richard said as well as AJ is doing he'd run him out of his own pocket. Back to Amirola, He did have some shots of good last year and has been caught up in a couple of wrecks this year, but all in all he seems to have some genuine talent. Maybe they could put him in the 07 car........

Smith has really bad luck. And lets not forget about NASCAR sticking it up his by stealing his win and giving it to Tony so he could have a last win for his sponsor.
I think they will be full, just not fully sponsored
Didn't they say during the race today that Petty has no intention of shutting the #44 down?Yet another blow to the cup series. Only 32 teams have a full time sponsor this year. Good thing she kept Lil e's number...........
Just a sad story for Earnhardt's ( Sr) legacy......... Wonder what he would think about what he worked so hard to establish for his boy turnin out this way?

“But if he keeps running like at Daytona, I’ll just start running him out of my pocket as far as that’s concerned because he’s just going to bring the money back in.”
