It was pretty clear to me that NASCAR wouldn't do anything because of the smile on his face Monday.

After last year, it seemed there was no line. Then they put a harness on Harvick. I agree there should be no fine, but these guys come off as clueless as to what they really want.
Here's my "reporter" pet peeves:
Said tapped the rear of the Ford driven by Ragan.
Biffle: "He ran me off the race track in a very vulnerable spot, similar to what he did to the number 6 [David Ragan]."
So, Said tapped Ragan and ran him off the track, end of story?
Do these guys ever ask intelligent questions?
JD Gibb's was on the Hub tonight and was asked about not signing Edwards. Paraphrase "Sometimes, when you have to put things together in a rush, it's not the right time to start a fourth team".
WTF? He made it sound like JGR decided to take a pass on Edwards, and that is a huge story. Steve Byrnes didn't bat an eye and moved onto the next question. Did he ask the Hub if he could come on the show and tell a story to try and undo all the undermining Logano went through? Jenna Fryer tweeted me that there wasn't going to be a 3rd team. Logano was going to NW or on loan to another Cup team with JGR paying his salary.

I am willing to bet that Jack would have had a small sense of relief had Eddie gone elsewhere. But things being what they are in the world of sponsorship dollars, he, and FORD, were reluctant to let him go drive a Yota.
Would JGR really have started a 4th team? Who knows?
