Yep another one.....

Kevin Harvick Tells Atlanta Radio Station: Kyle Busch Is A 'Douchebag'

Kevin Harvick was a guest of The Bert Show on Atlanta's Q100 radio station Tuesday morning and dished to host Bert Weiss about his rivalry with fellow NASCAR driver Kyle Busch.

Weiss, a Harvick supporter, said he recently passed up a ridealong with Busch at Atlanta Motor Speedway out of loyalty to Harvick and wondered aloud whether he made the right call.

Harvick agreed with the decision but added, "You would have gotten to see first-hand just how much of a douchebag Kyle Busch really is."

The Richard Childress Racing driver, who last weekend revived talk of his rivalry with Busch, said the bitter feelings between the two drivers "just kind of festered over time."

"It started in Dover in about 2005," Harvick said. "He came across the nose of my car, and I drove him all the way down into the inside wall. That's really where it all started."

Harvick said drivers typically resolve disputes with one another about 90 percent of the time because they cross paths too often – both on and off the track – to carry on a rivalry.

With Busch, though, there are no plans to mend fences.

Asked by one of the show's co-hosts what Busch could do to redeem himself in Harvick's eyes, Harvick cracked, "I guess I could just retire."

"It makes me want to go brush my teeth every time I talk (about Busch)," he added.

You can listen to the full interview here.

That's one a-hole calling another a-hole an a-hole.

Gotta love it!

That's a ******* useless website. Seem's like it was designed by Bert...and Ernie.

I listen to this live on the site as I saw about it ahead of time on Twitter. I loved it and laughed. Way to go Kevin :beerbang:

Kyle needs to just go over and knock the crap out of him once and he would shut up.

Kyle couldn't knock the crap out of a paper bag. Harvick's usually all talk, but if push came to shove, Harvick would wad his ass up.

You mean Harvick's WIFE would wad his ass up, right?? Happy is as big a ***** as Kyle!

You may be right. I don't know, I have never seen Kyle fight. But if he did bend Harvick's nose a little, or loosen a tooth, or two, then he wouldn't have to listen to him any more. Now Harvick's wife might be a different story.:owquitit:

I don't know -- the problem with Kyle and Kevin is that they're the exact same personality. They both have LARGE egos, they both hate to lose, they both have motor mouths and are both all talk.

I still believe Kevin's the better driver. Kyle's stats may be better, but lets be honest, Gibbs equipment is far superior to Childress. I knew the entire team was screwed when they expanded to four cars again and brought Menard on. Had they not done that, Harvick would be a contender.

I would have to agree with most of what you are saying. As far as who is a better driver, I think if they both had great cars that it would be a pretty good race between them.

Oh, so points don't matter and wins don't matter now that Kyle leads both:rolleyes:
There you go again flip flop

I just glad to see the hate, racing needs a little. Give me some drivers that genuinely that don't like each other.

I don't want to see wrestling (well a hair pulling shirt ripping catfight deal between Dalana and Samantha , and some make up hugs would be cool....a dream).

But I have had enough of the corporate polished pieces, plastic types that only can cry for emotions.
Be loud rude and crude, they can even fart because I don't have to smell it on the TV or radio.

On the other hand as much as I like Harvick, this doesn't help him focus on the bigger things. He has a tendency to try and out-man others, rather just out-race others. That I believe is a flaw.

I can see Kevin trying to muscle up against Kyle on Friday at Atlanta practicing. I can't help but wonder if that's at the top of his list, and makes me wonder.

I can't remember Dale Senior's exact words but in old stock car racing magazine he said he didn't keep long vendettas going. He said the goal was to beat the entire field, and it was best not trying just to beat one guy (again a paraphrase from memory). I think that was a wise approach, that Kevin should learn.

You can also be so driven to mentally mess with, or to get into an opponents head, that it will backfire. The pursuit alone can be self-evident.

So good theatre, but from Kyle's spinning out Sadler last week, to Kevin's not letting it go, their playing wth fire. A consumption that can ruin any hopes of being the champs.

Chad and Jimmie, do not look quite as strong this year to me. Their probably enjoying the theatre too. The Kevin and Kyle show probably gives Gordon a smile, there maybe two less quality drivers to beat in the chase.

Harvick should STFU. Any legitimate racing incident where his car contacts da punks and na$car will come down on him like a ton of bricks.

Neither one of these guys knows when to shut up but that's what makes it so entertaining. Not only are they entertaining but so are all of their fans that keep up the fight. This is what good rivalries are made of.

Yep. This goes on in every sport, but I think it goes to another level in NASCAR because you can actually pay back your rival..........unless boss hog gets involved.

I don't know, they've been pretty lax on things since the 'Boyz Have @ It' era began. Eventually they do have to reign these guys in when it get too out of hand IMO and we've seen that a couple of times. For the most part though, they've been letting them go. Last Wednesday night was a perfect example of retaliation left go in the eyes of NASCAR. Not too many years ago I saw a certain someone sat out for a Cup race for a similar move @ Martinsville.

Sure, they told Harvick to leave the new goldenboy Kyle alone. Last year, they let Carl wreck for blood 3 times and never did squat to reign him in. They even protected him from Brad doing a little payback on Carl.

This is WWE stuff. Mess with each other, but don't mess with our script or drivers who bring us sponsor dollars at the tracks.

It's BS IMO, giving certain drivers more "free reign" than others. Rivalaries are good, sure...makes it interesting, but when cars end up on their roofs and into the catch fence, Nascar should be embarassed, not promoting it in their adds.

No, I'm saying Kyle's a great driver but, no matter what the pundits say, the Gibbs cars/engines are the fastest out there right now and, with the exception of 2009, they have been for the past four seasons.

RCR cars weren't the best last year. Hamlin, by far, had the best cars and won a lot of races. Harvick had a top five car and was consistent.

Back when "The Intimidator" was running there were certainly two sets of rules in NASCAR. They were the NASCAR Rules and the Earnhardt Rules. It really used to infuriate me when Dale was celebrated for doing something that would have meant a penalty or suspension for any other driver.

But to see Eddie Haskell get away with all of the stuff he did to Bradley last year was reedonkulous. NASCAR is really fortunate that Kez wasn't injured in any of those "incidents".

Kyle's under the same set of rules as Carl.

If Harvick, Robby Gordon or a no-name had done all the crap Kyle and Carl have done the past two seasons, they'd be suspended frequently.

You know its true

Kyle's done stuff others would get in trouble for
So has Carl.

You ppl don't get it do u

Grin
Say I'm sorry
We talked it's finished

Then take his azz to the wall
The ppl that get there azzes in a bind are the one that don't do that AND tell everybody including NASCAR they are taking them to the wall These drivers should be parked for being STUPID AZZ IDIOTS

Saying you're gonna do it or saying you did it on purpose afterwards to me is the same damn thing. If you admit to it after you did it then they need to be parked for the next dang race and with the new points thing sit them out in whatever race they are going for points in not the one it happened in. Kyle,Carl, or even Harvick sitting out a truck or nationwide race won't do crap to them.

I get that you seem to think there is a difference between saying you're gonna do it and saying you meant to do it. When there isn't a difference at all cause you still saying or said you did it on purpose.

I mean if you kill a guy okay ...will you not go to jail if you say you did it afterwards? okay killing someone is a bit extreme

Okay say two people rob a store

one person tells a cop they gonna rob a store and do it
one person robs a story and tells a cop they did it.

both go to jail right?

So you agree with how they run things thought?

Yes I'll admit Kevin can be an a-hole sometimes
But so can Kyle and rather you say it on the radio ahead of time you are going to do something or you say it afterwards you did something you should be treated the same. Nascar probably wouldn't do crap to Kyle even if he said he was going to wreck someone.

Hey you said it I didn't.

My question now for you is.

If you ran Nascar would you treat a driver different if he said he was going to do it then a driver who said they did it?

Me I'd treat them one in the same. I'd also tell the handle it out of the cars and one on one like a man.
