was there a pre-race shw? Opps! I must have missed it. There was very limited pre-race coverage in the "regular broadcast". Call to start engines was just made.

Never got to see race coverage because ABC is more interested in playing toward the pyromaniac side of the audience.
C'mon, this is southern California, we have wildfires EVERY year. Doesn't really call for all-day coverage of smoke, flames and water-dropping aircraft.
