Considering he is a rookie this year in NW and running the full schedule why doesnt he run for ROTY? Is there any reason he wouldnt?

I think if you run more than seven races, that is your rookie time. Also if Nascar thinks that you don't have enough experience, they can put a yellow rookie stripe on the back bumper of your car.

But he didnt -- if I am not mistaken he only ran a couple races last year.
He should get ROTY.
