Noah's Ark Racing Returns!!!

Looking forward to the race. Talladega is my favorite track, and Daytona is a close second. I don't like this two-x-two racing anymore than others here, but the fact that it's Daytona gets me excited for it, plate racing or not. I don't know what the solution is, but thankfully, it shouldn't last forever.

I use to go to Manzanita Speedway on 4th of July weekend and watch the Daytona race later at home. Sure enough, there would be someone in the stands talking about the results after arriving late, and I would sit there, with both fingers in my ears yelling "la,la,la,la,la,la,la". lol.

I've watched the last 4 or 5 Cup races this year on dvr, well after the start. I'll be damned if I'm not watching this one live. I love Daytona.:beerbang:

I just bought tickets this afternoon, I was going to be in Orlando for the week and was like screw it I'm going all the way down towards turn 1 but its still Daytona.

We'll probably continue to see this style of plate racing until the new cars in 2013 and then it will become a battle of the manufacturers once again..... I hope. Can't wait for the whining amongst the owners. Jack probably being the loudest.

In the meantime let's brush up on some of our favorite phrases.....

It's not real racing!

It is Daytona, and this used to be among my favorite races, but I've really lost my passion for the place. This 2x2 stuff just doesn't do it. I know a lot of people detest plate racing, but before this latest partner craze, the pack racing was edge-of-your-seat, hold your breath racing until the end.

Thankfully a great show on tap at Mobile International this weekend. Otherwise my Kindle would be getting a workout Saturday nite.

This racing is incredibly boring unless there's late race cautions.

Ten laps in to a run and the packs are more strung out than they are at California.

I agree, I've lost my passion for Daytona. I'll watch tomorrow's stuff after I get my iPhone replaced then figure out what to do Saturday.
