Noon, Eastern, tomorrow

Dang! I will have to listen to the race on the radio. :(

Trying to decide if I can get away with listening to Pit Command at the office without getting caught ;)

'Tis better to watch in it's entirety than have them throw a green/yellow and parade for 20-30-40 laps then green for a bit then cut the race short due to darkness.

I feel for those that have tickets but have to work tomorrow. I wouldn't jeopardize my job in the present economic climate we're in to see a race. IMHO of course:D

I hate it when this happens. I had to tell my DVR to record about 11 different shows.

I know. I hit as many as I could and after one deletes tonight, then I can add a couple of more. Unfortunately, I have to go out in the morning and again in the afternoon, probably right in the middle of it. Oh well - at least I got out to the store this afternoon instead of sitting in front of the TV.

I can edit the times on my DVR. Though it still shows up as Sports Center, the time I set if for 12 to 5 and hope that is enough time.

I will give you cliff notes of what will happen tomorrow.

Green flag, run 20 laps, NASCAR caustion to look at tires.
Laps 21 thru 60 green flag laps until pits stops, boring as hell.
Wreck on lap 110, Stremme gets stuck in the mud of the infield.
10 LAPS later Hornish runs Harvick in the wall while both of the are battling for a top ten finish. Hard luck Harvick day ends due to Sideways Sam.
Laps 120 thru 185 caution free, and Ryan Newman build 6 second lead, until mysterious debris ends up in a lower lane of the Long Pond straightaway.
Run for 9 more laps and we have a caution, Busch blows a engine, setting up a green white checker finish. Ryan Newman pit crew leaves off Lug nut, and ruins his chances for the Win.
Battle is between Gordon and Johnson. Gordon finally beats teamate and Prodigy for the win.

Thanks, now I don't need to worry about missing it.:)

Will the radio broadcast stream from NASCAR.com?

Yes but it isn't free (unless they have a special promotion and I don't think there is one this week), I have Pit Command so I can pick radio or my driver.

What kind of dvr is it? Most of the dvrs can set manual recordings and you just set it from 12 to 6 for example. That's what I'm doing with mine tomorrow.

Steve Wilkos is an a**hole.

I was actually supposed to go to The White House tomorrow. President was going to host ceremonies honoring JJ and other top NASCAR drivers. Washout of the Pocono Pennsylvania 500 threw a monkey wrench at that.

Every track here was rained out Friday and the local asphalt track was rained out Saturday. Then Monday's deal canceled because of rain -- a once in a lifetime opportunity. All because of rain.

Any chance of a replay for the working folk?

If they do it will be something stupid like Tuesday at 2 pm. NASCAR doesn't care about people like us that actually have to do ridiculous things like go to work on Mondays.
