Nos. 9, 48 penalized for engine allocation violations after New Hampshire

“administrative error”

“unintentionally allocated”

Mhhmmmm sure

Both are in the chase
And points reset in chase (am I right about this)
So, guessing to see if nascar would notice

It’s not cheating, it’s innovation in motion

Hhhmmmm
Remember last year the HMS self reporting of too much wind tunnel time

Were they testing the new front end being used now

hmmmmm

Maybe nascar should have taken 25 chase points

Why? The infraction didn't happen in the chase, makes no sense to take away chase points. What if a team not in the chase commits the infraction? How do you make the punishment equal?

Just my thinking
if intentional as being said in this case, then ok.

but.
if their “innovation” was not a mistake
The end goal of the “innovation” is to win a championship
I don’t think this mistake would be made in the last 10 races
