I didn't think there would be much to hold my interest today. But, I can't tell you the last time I got to watch Penn State and Notre Dame get beat on national television in the same day. I'm not sure there is a team out there that I hate with the passion I do those two teams. It is kind of sad that I only have one team I really like playing today. That is Florida State. But, they are really not too impressive this year (except when they should have beaten Miami). Tyrone Willingham seems like a pretty good guy and a good coach, but watching ND get throttled was a sight for sore eyes.

Oh yeah, I saw Florida get beat today too. But Michigan is the team that beat them, so that isn't really any good either. And I don't hate UF nearly as bad since Steve Superior left.

Why do you "hate" ND? I've never even heard you mention them before.

I've mentioned this on here before, you just must not have read it. I just have had it shoved down my throat how great they are. And how they have "devine help". Everything from "Touchdown Jesus" to the "Golden Dome" gets under my skin.

I was thinking maybe that's why they say they get divine help. Could be wrong, must be something else then...

I know that's why they say that. It just seems pias(sp?). Kind of like saying "God wants them to win because they are Catholics". Like that makes them somehow better than players and kids from other scholls who may happen to be Baptist, or Pentacostal, or anything else.

I always took it as a funny kind of tradition. I never took it as an insult against other religions.

You might be right though, they should probably stop saying it before they are forced to stop by some liberal, politically correct whacko.

I've OD'ed on football today with more to come.

Have a good 'net buddy that's a HUGE Auburn fan who was at the game in Orlando. I imaging she's flying home without a plane. LOL

Easy now Paul. I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to say it. I'm just saying it bugs me. There is a huge difference.:)
