With no good racing at all, that just leaves a few things for Bonehead of the Week candidates.

The few I have are AC Speedway officials for not checking their equipment and allowing a caution light to fall onto the track. Or Junior's crew for having another screwed up car. Or NASCAR for allowing AC Speedway to have 2 Cup races.

I didnt even watch it.....I figured watching paint dry would be more fun that watching a race at Cali.

Did the stands look full?

did they look full? yes.

Do we know how many were dressed up manicans? not yet

Go Panter --- the stands looked like they had the red mange --- either there were lots of empty seats or the fans dressed to look like seats.

I think the bonehead is a tie --- between the speedway for the falling lights and NASCAR for having 2 races there.

Makes me wonder about the condition of the rest of the facility. I've heard the COT makes a big hole in the air but having a light come off and land on the track? Imagine if the leaders had just gone by and it came off in mid pack.

OK, I had another Nascar free weekend, this time at Georgetown Speedway in Delaware. Can someone explain to me what happened with the light falling on the track? I mean I've seen cautions for debris, but a caution for debris for caution?:)

I went to Hagerstown on Saturday night? Have you been up there at that track at all VADirt? Real nice track, and lots of good hard racing action. :growl:

Listened to Fixed Noise coverage of Hurricane Gustav on Sunday. I figured that would be better than NASCAR at ACS.

I vote for NASCAR for raping fans by jacking the legendary Southern 500 and shipping the labor day race off to Hollywood and running two very unpopular races out there.

Here's the QOD: Whichj track is more overrated, ACS or IMS?

how about Bonehead statement, "Junior's crew for having another screwed up car" Why just single jr.s team out? I'm sure the #20 is runnin sub-par equipment and what about the Gannssi cars? Oh wait a minute how about bonehead team:sarcasm:

The #20 team deserves a mention too. Couldn't crack the top 10 all night and was the last car on the lead lap at the end. Kept going the wrong direction with their changes.

A crew member from Biffle's team asked Chad if he would have Jimmie slow down with 20 laps to go. Now that's funny right there; I don't care who you are...

they showed that on TV....was wondering what they had bartering there.

the reason he wanted jimmie to slow down is to get trash off his grill, good luck on that one there biff.
