We got back about 2AM. Decided to drive on through, rather than spend too much money staying in Vicksburg.
Brought the 16 yo grandson and his 14 yo cousin to stay for a while. Forgot how truly idiotic teeage boys can be --- it was a really fun trip home.
I must say the Ole Miss campus is spectacular. The grounds are breathtaking and wonderfully maintained.
The boys played 9 games in about 48 hours. How they did it, is beyond me.
The weather was beautiful, but very hot.
Here, at home, we had about 1.5 inches of rain in the time we were gone. No serious problems around town, except for the usual flooding of a few roads that are in very low spots.
