the header to this forum is, NASCAR chat, where you can talk about any NASCAR series right? I understand the difference between the series. You have the ARCA, ASA, CRA, IMCA, UARA, and USAR, all of which are stock car racing series that are not sanctioned by NASCAR. Then you have the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (Northern and Southern) which IS sanctioned by NASCAR but apparently does no qualify as such for this forum. We could, like so many other forums have done, sub-categorize the forum with Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, Camping World Truck Series, Canadian Tire Series, and Corona Series. That way for those who don't want to read about how those series that they don't want to read about....

I think I've made my point. I'll still use this forum to make any comments about NASCAR mods. I'll leave it to the forum mods to move them.
 
Thats why there is a section called "other racing" that a certain person should use when they start a thread about the modifieds or crappy ARCA racing being on ESPN or whatever. I could give two ****s about modifieds and ARCA, personally.

To many of the the new fans who don't take the time to invest in the sport by following their local racing (The target demographic which NA__AR seens to pander to and focus on), "NASCAR is synonymous with "stock car" (Big joke there!) racing. To that group the two terms are completely interchangeable.

We, who support our local tracks, know the difference, that's why we attend the local racing.

Buck, we have an ARCA forum -- and I think that's a good place to post USAR, CRA and UARA stuff. But I've been putting USAR stuff in the NASCAR forum because there isn't really an appropriate place for them.

As for the Modifieds, that was a NASCAR race, don't know why it's gotta be moved.
 
For ARCA races, I will continue to use the "ARCA" forum.

For the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Versus series, I will continue to use the "NASCAR chat" forum since they are NASCAR races. The mods can move it if they so choose.

For USAR, UARA, etc., since someone seems to have such a big problem with it, I'll put them in the ARCA forum.

All you guys can call me out I asked TRL to put up a category for the Modifieds thought it would be cool because there are other Modified racing sanctions besides NASCAR. So if you want to blame some one blame me.:D

Chromehorn threw a ball at me, I took a swing.

Buckaroo's merely stating that there are other non-NASCAR divisions of stock car racing and wondering where we should put those. Since some people have a problem with it, I say put it in the ARCA forum where nobody goes anyways.
