FORT WORTH, Texas - It's a crime with a teasing twist: police say three thieves danced away from an adult business with some hard cash -- and a stripper pole.

Sgt. Pedro Criado of the Fort Worth Police Department says on Thursday night, The Romance Store on 780 N. Beach Street was robbed by two men wearing bandannas over their faces, along with a female accomplice.

Two of the thieves were each allegedly armed with kitchen knives. An employee told police they made him open the cash register by threatening him with the eight-inch blades.

Police say the thieves got away with a few hundred dollars.

But before they left, one of the suspects went to the back of the store and grabbed one of the stripper poles for sale. The item was in its box, not on display.

The Fort Worth Police Robbery division is looking closely at the surveillance video for clues in this investigation.
