Almost time for the Shootout, pole day, the twins (or what are they now, the duels?)
I know this has been discussed a bazillion times, but with the top-35 crap, the Thursday twin races are pretty much meaningless now. Although they do make for a good preview of what to look for on Sunday.

The Shootout's meaningless as well. Both are glorified practice sessions for the big dance.

Heck..... I like watching practice so 'glorified practice' is a plus in my book. I'm not real excited about the Shootout eligibility requirements or the Top 35's impact on the Duals but racing is racing and I can't wait.

East Bay Winternationals are going on in Tampa too! Lucas Oil Late Model series will be there this week. I'm hoping to make it to 2 or 3 of their shows.
