So I figured it's the week & there's no racing so i'd finish the first season of a new career on NASCAR Inside Line on my PS3. I tried to paste from my spreadsheet but my computer wouldn't let me, either that or I just don't know fully how to use it. So anyway, if you check out the attachment you see how my season went, my driver is Kristin Holley. Dale Jr was pretty dominant throughout the course of the entire season & actually led the points standings going into Homestead but in the end, he fell short to his teammate. Jimmie Johnson failed to win a race at all but he did have the most top 10's. After the last race of the season at Homestead, I thought to myself that I wouldn't mind if that's how a title season really went. I only included the top 30, Patrick finished 32nd but it's cool I've already started my second season & she won the Daytona 500 after David Stremme in an unsponsored car won the pole. Ahhh the fantasy world of video games, without them no ones unimaginable dreams would ever come true...

I like NTGIL but I agree with Chex. We need a real good Nascar game on console. Still fun though.

I played NTG for a while with absolutely no assists & still dominated every race. Coming out of the corner having enough speed to pass 10+ cars? Unrealistic as can be. I want a competitive game where I have to keep adjusting the car, not just start out w the perfect setup every race. Take they back. NASCAR 07 with the teammate control was actually a good game. I loved the team control on 'dega

The physics in NTG:IL are really bad. I still play the old Dirt to Daytona PS2 game from time to time.

I usually play Forza 4 but its no even challenging anymore. Seems like iRacing is the only good option and its really expensive.

I actually really like this game. I've done a whole season (well, there are 3 races left) where there are only red flags. It makes for a big shakeup in points.

For awhile, my Top 5 in points consisted of:
Danica Patrick (Me)
Joe Nemechek (Won a race and had a lot of top 10's)
David Stremme
Greg Biffle
Trevor Bayne

Johnson and Gordon were 35th or worse for awhile.

Omg dirt to Daytona was the best game (racing & competition wise) cuz u had to earn your way to the top. So much fun. Graphics are laughable sometimes but it's an excellent game

Nascar thunder 2004 is still really fun to play until I deleted off my comp. The graphics were **** cause the racing roms don't process the polygons but it was fun to go back and play..as classic drivers, fantasy tracks. I would dominate at Pocono and Homestead. never could qualify at Daytona well tho.

I'm thinking about getting Nascar inside line for my wii because it's $17 bucks on Amazon and I just wanna have some fun.

Nascar Thunder 2004 is still the best Nascar game that I've played. 06 is pretty good but my copy had a ton of glitches. Sometimes it would freeze every time I got to the last race of the Nationwide season. If I did make it to Cup for some reason I'd get double and sometimes triple points every race. It was impossible not to win the championship.

Nascar 2005 with the chase was the last good game they put out.

I'm more into sims so I stick with Gran Turismo.

They need to put EA back in charge of NASCAR games. Whatever group makes them now obviously knows nothing about racing. For Gods sake NTG didn't even have a rear view mirror - just some ****** "car radar" thing.

ROFL EA is a joke of a video game company.

They shut down their servers within a year of a title launch.

They also run in-game ads on their games. lol

Have you played Battlefield? They have built in ads to other games so you buy them. Pathetic way of doing business.

You're paying good money to have a clean experience and then you end up getting hassled every so often with ads telling you to buy this game or that game.

I'm an advertising major - ads don't bother me. From what I've played of BF, it is so much better than COD. I'm not a gamer btw I stick to soccer & football. EA was in control from NASCAR 98 till '09... The best games were from 2004-2009. I don't give a **** about BF and COD nerd arguments, I just want good NASCAR games again.

NASCAR 07 is what got me into NASCAR in the first place lol...good times!

Eutechnix and activision screwed it up. EA made good games. I think they just need more time to tweak it. Their online servers r a joke.

Every single NASCAR game that I've purchased since NR2003 has always turned out to be a huge disappointment. Game being the key word. I think that it's been because all of those have been some sort of game rather than a simulation of the sport.

The EA games were great when they first came out, but got progressively crappier over the years. By the time they got to NASCAR 08 and 09, they just plain sucked. I played a season on NASCAR 08 once, and Jon Wood won 4 races, if that gives you an idea of how far the realism had fallen off. NTGIL isn't perfect, but it's better than the last few EA games IMO, and light years ahead of NTG2011, which was horrible. Eutechnyx never should have put that game out.

If I can't pronounce the game company I'm probs not gonna play it

Eutechnyx had to look NASCAR up on wikipedia just to get started with their game. :(

:XXROFL:

This could be the case just as well.

I couldn't even finish a season with it. I traded it within a month and I dont make it a habit of selling my games. This is how bad that game was.
