N'wide Charlotte

They won't go the distance. Nascar will start them, run the next 20 laps and call it official. Bastages.

Whew..I think if I was Jeff Green I'd take up another line of work.

I heard Allgaier had a good run going and got caught in the wallace/green wreck. sucks to hear that. who actually won?

Wildthing in a Cup operated car.

Cup drivers swept top-5.

Okay, it's obvious now. NOTHING's going to change and Nationwide is now Cup-Lites.

Okay, I'll stick to ARCA.

But Andy has a valid point. The cup guys come in with better equipment due to the fact they can get more sponsor $$ because of name recognition, better pit crews and in some cases it's their cup crews who pit them and face it, in most cases the drivers have more experience.
NW guys don't have a chance.
If a cup driver wants to compete in NW they should be committed to every race. Not pick and choose or cherrypick in other words. Practice, qualify and start. Not have someone else get them in the field. If it interfers with their cup program they are going to have to make a decision. Or limit them to say 6races a year.
Look at the purse difference between the series, win a NW race you maybe win 100K, win a cup race you win 500k or more. No wonder most NW teams are struggling, cup guys are taking the big winnings.
Na$car's original plan was to have the Busch series as a feeder series to cup, like AAA baseball is to major league ball.
Like all of Na$cars plans they somehow manage to screw it up.

Yep, it was a definitely a crashfest. I felt bad for Allgaier. He did have a good run going. Steven Wallace - what can one say about Steven that hasn't already been said? LOL

As far as all of the cup drivers not crashing... did I dream it or didn't Jimmie go for a ride off of the track? ;) I do see what you mean, though. These guys make way more money than the regulars.

I do have a question. Who is (I think) Kenny(?) Hendrick? Is he any relation to Rick? Every race he's out within a few laps. There's a few others who week after week start and are out of the race within 10 laps or so and they aren't even involved in an accident. It just seems weird that these guys start every week, but never seem to go many laps, not to mention how much it must cost just to bring a car to the track.

Fillers. They get enough to pay the tire bill, one set, and not much more. Morgan Sheppard started a race and didn't have a full pit crew!

Brad Keselokski is in third place following Kansas. 30 races and he's made $1,030,800. The closest in earnings in cup is Aric Almirola, 10 races &$1,151,350. He's in 42nd place. Lowest cup earnings who made all 30 races is Robbie Gordon at $3,426,340.

Tell me again how the purse is equitable.

use to be all kinds of fillers in cup, since the new car, and 45-50 teams showing every week its weeded them out. Im sure the top 35 has helped to.
I think jimmy spenser called them Start and Park cars.

Car counts in ARCA are way up ever since NA$CAR mandated the COT in Spitcup and allowed the Cup drivers to invade the Busch Series.

Plus ARCA ratings are up around where the Trucks are. And ARCA might end up with a suite television deal next season. :growl:

Brian - keep it up. You're doing ARCA a great service by ruining NASCAR.
