anyone else ready for racing to begin (whether it be Daytona in February or Maryland in April)???

This has been, without doubt, THE WORST winter ever and it ain't even January. :(

The Worst are you sure? Maybe its just the fact you cant remember the previous off seasons. Thats why you recored several races periodicly through out the season so you have all winter to reflect back on the previous season on your own time. Looking at all the racing series i think its a good thing the season is still a ways away. Just about every series has a major question mark of whos driving what? Who's gonna be the sponsor? Will the team survive?

Not even close. In fact, it wouldn't even appear on my top 10 list of worst winters ever. I doubt it will yours either in another 30-40 years <g>

Yes, Im ready for the first weekend in April when the IRL takes the streets again at St. Petersburg..:)

im waiting on those 50 something rolex cars to fire em and make 24 hours of thunder, myself.

I'm enjoying the hell out of the NBA right now. My Cavaliers are doing great. The NFL is pretty exciting about now too.

I'm ready for some racing. I have some races taped and got a new DVD for Christmas, but I've been being nice and letting my hubby watch football or whatever he wants on the big TV where all the "equipment" is. I noticed he did have some kind of racing on the other day. Not sure exactly what it was - looked something like sports cars and not sure if they were considered antiques, but they were older cars. So what have I done instead? Buy NASCAR stuff on Ebay! I think I better start watching something soon! LOL

There's a few GTC style micro-leagues cropping up from the SCCA, believe it or not.
