Dow down another $100, that's around $400 in about a week. Oil today at $100 a bbl. UP almost 10 bucks since the raghead spat. I'm getting real tired of this chit.

Tell the dictators to leave town instead of declaring war on their own people to stay in power.

If it indeed hits Saudi, disrupts oil flow, then we can expect $200/ barrel.

In the long run, this may be the best thing that could have happened to us. It's just not viable to be a world superpower and depend on the Middle East for your energy supply.

Maybe we will get serious about getting off oil.

haha just kidding!! we are screwed.

And of course the Democrats and Liberals will blame the Republicans and Conservative, and vice versa. Meanwhile no one is paying attention to the man behind the screen, Big Oil who is pulling all the strings if our oil supply from the ME does get cut off.

I just paid $3.299/gallon this afternoon. That is the most I have ever paid and I didn't even get a kiss.

Still 2.99 here. But going up around us, so will only be a matter of time.

Average for the cheap grade is $3.56 around here. Glad my Focus averages 33-35 mpg's. I'll be driving the Focus to the Vegas race, 41 mpg's on the highway.

Went down to Concord today, paid $3.05 at Hess. It's $3.21 at the Citgo here in Whitefield, and a little more over in St. Johnsbury, VT.

We'll be lucky if Saudi Arabia withstands the pressure, so we're likely in for a rough summer at the pump. I'll probably be driving my old Volvo almost exclusively, and will seriously consider trading in my Sport Trac for a regular cab Ranger. It'd only be a small difference, but I've got to have a truck.

Same here, diesel has gone up 30 cents in the last 2 weeks here.

I'm fortunate that my truck gets to sit most of the time as my wife and I carpool when I am not working from home. Next month, I'll be towing my 5er down to Bristol for the race and will be sucking down that $4.00+/gal diesel @ around 11mpg. These extra nickles here and there add up awful quick. Every time I go to the pump these days I have to bend over to fill up.

My Dodge Ram sits more than drives too. I started driving my wife's car to work and she started taking the truck, since her drive is about a third of mine, and she only works about 4 days a week. And when my son gets done with shool, we'll have that car back as well, so the truck will hopefully sit almost all the time unless I have something to hall.

I'm sooooo glad I went for the V-6 when I bought my truck.:)
2011 Chevy's no longer have a V-6 available in the ext cab. Seems to me many people need the bulk carrying capacity of a truck and not the towing/weight carrying ability.
Shortsighted IMHO.

It's not that my Ram2500 Cummins gets bad fuel mileage, because it doesn't for heavy duty truck. I just did some upgrades to it last week, put a profile chip in it, cold air induction, 4" exhaust, and real expensive injectors. All that ran me almost $3k, but worth it to get better performance, now at 450hp, and i get better fuel mileage at 20mpg around town and 25 mpg on the highway. I didn't think it was possible to get that much on the highway, but the guy I know who did the work for me swore by it and he was right. Still when I fill up no matter what the fuel mileage it still hurts a lot more now. $110 to fill up at $3.69/gal, now up another 10 cents today, so that will be even more next time. last time diesel reached $4, I only drove my beater car back and forth to work, drove the truck twice per month to the dump, that was it. Almost time to do that again, was hoping to go on an extended Fly Fishing trip to Maine 3rd week of June, but that could go on hold with fuel prices now rising.:(
