I know this prolly isnt the right place, but just wanted to say hey again.... as most have noted, it has been over a year since my last post. well, I was diagnosed with brain cancer last year. After bein paralyzed in my right side, half deaf, double vision, and given only 3-6 months to live..... well. here I am, all bettter, and nearly one year later. So Im baaaack....lol.
Also, I havent seen a post about it here, but one of our fellow posters and my dad,"mitchum" as he was known here (Jerry Sims) passed this past year. he has been greatly missed by me and many many more..................
just wanted to let everybody know whats been goin on.........sorry its been so long...... but just to keep this on track with racin, Gooooo Mark!!! lol.
 
I'm certainly glad to read that you are doing so well after your health issues but equally sad to hear about mitchum. Anyone could see that he took great pride in each of his creations. mitchum and his calendars will be missed. Stay healthy.

Amen to what dpkimmel said. Sorry to hear about your dad. I had wondered where you were. Happy Birthday on 1-22-11.
 
one of the saddest posts that i've read here. i'm glad you are doing better speedwayphoto and hope you continue doing well. so sad to hear about mitchum. i will miss his posts. :(
 
Hey speedway...Sorry for your loss and glad you are better.
My sister (45) had a tumour on her brain stem...had all the symtoms you had...They gave her some chemo and she is betting better too.


Isn't technology great!!!!! Glad you are back Just in time for the big dance!!!!:beerbang:
 
Sorry for the loss of your father. But it is good to hear your are doing better.
 
Oh, speedway --- I'm just devastated with the news that mitch has passed. I so enjoyed his creations.

And I'm happy to hear you're on the road to recovery. My hubby is undergoing chemo right now for lymphoma in the brain. He has severe weakness on his left side, but some strength is coming back.

thank ya'll sooo much. It's been really neat the past few weeks.. soooo many people that never met my dad, but had "chatted" with him over the years. It just boggles the mind all the peeps world-wide that "knew" Pops.
 
So sorry to hear about your loss. I really enjoyed the pictures of your dads work. That must have taken some real patience.
I'm glad to hear you are doing so well.
