I was looking at the race winnings report from richmond

dale jr finished 10 and got 101k in winnings.
however david ragen and bobby labonte finished 19th and 20th and earned more money worse yet jamie mcmurray finished 26th and had more winnings than any of the drivers talked about. ok I realize there are a ton of ways drivers earn more money. ie if they win a race the year before or if they finish in the top 20 in points the year before. but none of the drivers other than dale jr finished in the top 20 in points or won a race last year. my question is how is it that these guys win more money than a 10th place finisher that won a race last year and was in the chase the year before????
