Today's schedule at Darlington includes practice and qualifying for both the BGN and CTS folks. Keep an eye peeled around here for results and I do believe we'll have a link up for live, or at least semi live, qualifying in both series.

But be forewarned, the weather forecast for Darlington calls for rain possibilites today. And tomorrow, And Saturday.

Dem, seems the forecast has rain mentioned everyday from now til Thursday of next week........Musta done somebody wrong! :(

Seems that the rain is on.

CTS practice scheduled for a 2 hour session to begin at 9:00 has been delayed due to rain. The schedule is tight today with both the CTS and BGN folks on track.

6 weeks in a row now of rain!!! Counting the ARCA race and Shootout where it rained the night and mornign before the ARCA race!!

I usually visit Truckseries.com a lot but it won't load for me now. Anything out there besides Nascar.com with some information? Like # of entries; entry list; practice times; qualifying order.....

HardScrabble, where do you get your info?

  Could it be that the FRANCE FAMILY has upset the BIG GUY UP ABOVE?

Getting it from TruckSeries, it loads, but it is a little slow today. Ya get a blank screen for just a bit then it loads up. Great site , BTW.

Latest update:

It is still raining, not hard, but steadily, here at Darlington.  There has been no track drying activity at all, and will not be any for the foreseeable future. (11:26 am ET)

I don't know if anyone is reading this or not, but here is the latest update:

The rain has stopped, and the jet driers have been started!  Skies have lightened dramatically, and teams are now optimistic that trucks will be on track shortly for practice.  Best estimates on the time needed to get the track dried, if the rain does not start again, range from 60 minutes to two hours.  (1:05 pm ET)

Aside from TruckSeries.com about the only place I know that has much info is the Darlington Raceway site, which at least has the entry list and in the past has put up practice times and such. You can find it at:

Darlington Raceway Site

That's Racin' has a truck page but last I time I looked it was blank, not much help.

NOL offers pitiful little coverage of their own series. I do not even know if they have the entry list up. If they do I can't find it there, but I can never find hardly anything there. Worst laid out site I believe I have ever seen.

I don't even bother with that site anymore. Absolutely useless, IMO.

from Trackside.com:
Thursday Qualifying Cancelled
Bud Pole qualifying for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has been cancelled due to rain. Lineups for the Craftsman 200 on Friday will be set by 2002 owners' points. NCTS drivers will practice for one hour at 3:30 PM ET, followed by one hour Busch Series practice. A Happy Hour practice for the trucks will take place after the Busch Series practice, weather and time permitting.

Thanks for that site, just checked it out and bookmarked it, once again your info is top notch! :D

well if CTS qualifying is canceled and the practice schedule is what that, then Busch qualifying must be canceled too. Other wise the sched won't work.

Will have to check BGNRacing to see for sure. But count on it.

btw; for Busch series coverage it is hard to beat BGNRacing.com

Yeh that is a great site too....i've been visiting that one for a few weeks now.

I vist BGNracing alot, just about every day!! I check out the truck site everyonce in a while as well!! Both are great sites!!

This rain is getting to be a bummer. Everyone get up and start doing an anti-rain dance. Maybe DW's vortex theory will work.

I'd like a nice dry weekend for racing, for a change.
