y taking part in the third event of the World Rally Championship in Turkey, drivers will face many unknowns. First, this is the first time it is part of the WRC calendar, so no one knows what to expect. And second, this Turkish rally will be the first gravel event of the season.
These should make the event even more attractive, although one might expect to see the current hierarchy prevail. Everyone starts with the same hopes for a win, as no one has any experience in this rally.
The 206 has got to be the favorite going in. Ford won its rallys last year with reliability and vetern leadership, now they don't the veterns, they now with the very quick Citroens, which have to be Peugeot's main rivals. Subaru came out with a roar on the snow a week ago, but how will they fare on gravel?
