Watched it last night, the story behind how the Winston was flopping and Humpy pitched he'd light the track for a night race. So in 1992 the first All Star race was held. And it was a hellofva race too!

Something about seeing that black #3 on track still puts a lump in my throat..
 
wow what a great night. cable wouldn't come down are dead end road, had to get satellite tv installed to watch the race.. that thing was 4 foot round and anchored in concrete in the yard.
 
The entire 1992 All Star race is on youtube. It's an awesome, awesome watch! The energy at CMS that night was insane! The crowd was in a frenzy...
 
The Intimidator, Davey, Kyle's Mello Yello car. Ahhh....the memories.
