One million over a weekend?

Can't say I have
Really? Classic movie. Richard Prior is a minor league baseball player that has to spend $30 million in 30 days in order to inherit $300 million, but can't tell anyone about the $300 million part.

How many times have we read about multi million dollar lottery winners going broke in just a few years? I ever win that kind of cash I'm disowning 99.9% of my relatives!

I don't know if I could go thru a million in a weekend but it sure as he77 be fun to find out!

I bet a good portion of that weekend was spent in what he calls "scrip clubs". It sounds like it went right back into the local economy, at least. Of course, most of it I'm sure, went into the pockets of drug dealers eventually. I was shocked when I first heard "Pac Man" was going to be speaking at the rookie symposium. If they take his life as a cautionary tale, then it could be very good for them. However, I think this story will give a few of them a goal to see if they can surpass.

I'm sure it would be pretty fun to try to spend that much in a weekend, but I don't think I could bring myself to do it even if I had that much money to blow. Well, not without ending up with some really nice guitars and maybe a few guns and at least one really nice car, I suppose.

Without paying cash for a really nice house or buying multiple sports cars in one day how can you spend a million dollars in one weekend?
IF...I recently inherited SEVERAL million dollars then I would have no problem spending a mil in a couple of days. If I only had one million to spend then obviously I would invest it for a long-term yield.
A million dollars is not a lot of money anymore.
