Today is unquestionably one of the top ten days of the year!

Ohio State's football season starts today!

There are only a few days a year that are consistently better than Buckeyes opening day

Christmas
Easter
Wedding Anniversary
Ohio State vs Michigan

Those are the only ones that come to mind. You'll notice that I'm not including days where you are pretty much guaranteed sex, like Father's Day, your birthday, etc. I have sex several days a year, but this only happens once a year.

Daytona 500
Opening night at a given race track
Memorial Day Sunday

I could go on and on, especially since, in my mind, any day of racing is better than a day of football.

BTW, what is this "football" thing people keep talking about? I mean, it's freaking racing season.

It lived up to the billing. Ohio State was down 3-0 after the first quarter and didn't really look like they had a very good grasp on their new coach, Urban Meyer's, new system. Then, they went on a 56-0 run and all was right with the world.

I was worried midway through the first for Miami against BC. Miami fell behind 14-0 but fought back to win 41-32. That Michigan/Alabama game was just awful. Thought it'd be a good game.......Surely you know I was only having a little fun above

I figured. But then, I figured that when you found out that my next favorite team is Florida State, you'd be really disgusted. I like Miami ok as well, just not NEARLY as much as I love my top three.

Just to recap, my three favorite teams are Ohio State, Florida State and Whoever is playing Michigan this week.

Local sports talk radio. It's kinda funny because they have two topics going on right now. The first is "Do you think Urban Meyer will be more successful at Ohio State than Jim Tressell was?" and "What was your favorite video game when you were a kid?"

I think Urban is gonna work out just fine at OSU. Tressell did accomplished a lot and you hate to see a guy go out like that. More successful IDK, Tressell was a great coach.

I'd have to agree. Tressell owned Michigan and won a BCS title. I guess to be more successful, Meyer would have to win multiple titles and actually go undefeated against Michigan.
