One thing to love about Dover...

TNT is actually my favorite. They do outstanding pre-race segments on historical NASCAR figures. Also Kyle Petty just tells it like it is. Even when I don't agree with him I appreciate his willingness to speak his mind sans fear of repercussions. I think Wally does a nice job as well. They always get accused of showing more commercials than Fox but show the same minutes per hour.

Is Wally going to be back at TNT or is he locked down to IndyCar on NBC? TNT hasn't announced a lineup, to my knowledge, yet. KP is awesome but I have a very low tolerance window for Adam Alexander. It only takes about five minutes for that window to shatter.

I've not seen any reports indicating that Wally will be replaced. I do know that Lindsey Czarniak is gone due to being an anchor for ESPN's SportCenter.

I don't know either way. I sure hope Wally's back. KP and Wally in the booth are about the only two elements of TNT's craptastic coverage I enjoy. :)

It sucks that Lindsay's not on TNT (or on NBC Washington for that matter).

He did TNT last year IIRC. That's when NBC had Wheldon in the booth for a few races to fill in. I don't know for sure, but I would have to think they'll do the same thing this year. NBC has Townsend Bell in the same capacity as Wheldon.

That was last year and IndyCar was pretty much on a different network. It's NBC Sports Network now... but I imagine they could use Townsend Bell and allow Wally to go to TNT.

Just means we are another race closer to the ESPN Nascar craporama.

When TNT takes over, someone try to count how many times KP says "man" during a broadcast...it is insane! lol

Drinking game!

He also says "Let's just be honest..." a lot.
He cracks me up on Twitter as well. Takes no guff off anyone.

... final race of the season for FOX Sports :)

^THIS was gonna be my reply!^

But this is pretty darn cool too!

I like Danielle Trotta

Should we all drink when he does that? OOps didn't see previous post, should of read down more....my bad:oops:

Now I can really start to b*^ch about the TV broadcasts. Adam Alexander drives me up a wall. About the only thing I can take about TNT's coverage is Kyle Petty and even that depends on my mood ESPN is just dreadful.

One network's the same as the next. They could broadcast it on the Cartoon Network for all I care as long as I get to see it.

Turn the sound down and watch and listen to raceview, When Mikey comes on thats what I do.

The best thing about Dover is on Thursday night, when the World of Outlaws Late Model Series is down the road at the 1/2 dirt track in Delmar. If you're heading to Dover for the NASCAR weekend, you oughta head out Thursday and catch the action at this neat dirt track

I hate that they moved this race to this date, the mid-may dates were perfect. It's way too hot for me to sit out in this weather for a few hours and bake so I'll be skipping this one. I'll be there for the fall race though.

Seriously? The temps are going to be mid 60's to low 70's this weekend. High temps would never keep me from a race, let alone perfect temps.

Best thing about Dover is there's 43 pit stalls now. Wasn't that long ago a couple of them had to share pit stalls.

Yes, I hate sitting out in the sun. Last I checked it was going to be in the high 70s and humid. That's too hot for me. I don't enjoy baking out in the sun, especially when I could be on my couch watching it in HD and not have to do a 3hr+ drive and spend around 400 bucks in tickets, gas and tolls and deal with traffic, especially on the way home when it takes almost 5hrs to get home. No thanks.

I don't mind the heat but I can see why one would want to avoid the traffic and expense.

Don't move to Texas .You would never leave the house.

OK, so not NASCAR but we could use announcers with such enthusiasm.....

Jump to 1:06 of the video for the call of the white flag lap.

High 70s is too hot? Damn, that's almost perfect weather. Doesn't get much better than that. I saw the forecast for there for Sunday, partly cloudy with a high of 76º. That's dream race weather right there!

I think it's probably the cost and traffic more than the heat. He probably didn't realize it was going to be so nice and cool over the weekend.
