I think they use the last two numbers of or something like that. Nascar aint been right with the rules latly so i dont know.
I wonder if the Renfrow driver from Raleigh will try to make the race or if Derick Cope will attemp

I'm sure more will post a late entry fee (from Winston North maybe) to fill out the field. The $$ earned even finishing 43rd helps the team.

And, as for the 189, I also believe they only use the 3 digit # for the entry cuz they don't have a regular # assigned by Na$car, but run the last 2 if they make the race.

Is it true that if less then 43 cars make a race that NBC wont brodcast it or was that FOX's deal. I was told that and do not know how much truth is to that if any.

Remember the last race that only had 41 entries. NASCAR found 2 more late. The one driver made like 2 laps and pulled in $50G. Not bad money. And, I think the car was borrowed. :D

that sounds like something i would do. :) :p

Hey i would get in my own personal car and try to do it run a lap get black flag for not keeping up to speed and then get the dnf and make 50g's take vacation for the rest of the year

Some of you trivia guys - which race, which driver. It was only a few races ago. Michigan maybe?

uhhhh huh huh, what are you talkin about?

Ok I went looking for myself. It was Frank Kimmel he drove 8 laps for $35,069. Carl Long was the other entrant. He went 18 laps for $34,875.

It was Pocono that Kimmel and Long ran as fillers because I think ARCA ran there that weekend too, they will probably find some drivers to do the samething at New Hampsire.

It was Pocono, and Fox and NBC don't have to pay as much for a small field. Nascar will put someone in the field to start the race to have 43.

Las Vegas is giving 50/50 odds that A.J.'s car will make this race............ Hehehe

I wonder if Dick and Dave are already checking the mileage charts.:D

Saw where the entry list is now up to 42 with addition of Kirk Shelmerdine. Kirk has yet to qualify for a WC race that I recall. Could be a chance for his first.

Not real sure, but I reckon if I keep moving fast enough they won't catch me.:D

LOL..me and the boys can hole up in Ol Mexico for a spell if need be.;)

#27 Kirk Shelmerdine
has entered the race make it 42 now
