Open test at Charlotte in May

NASCAR announced Tuesday the addition of a Sprint Cup Series test session May 5-6 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. On May 5 practice times are set from 9 a.m. -- noon ET; 1 p.m. -- 5 p.m. ET; and 6 p.m. -- 9 p.m. ET. On May 6 practice times are set from 9 a.m. -- noon ET and 1 p.m. -- 5p.m. ET. Teams may test a maximum of four of those five practice segments.

Good decision on NASCAR's part. Maybe these teams will get some serious track time to figure these cars out on these types of tracks.

I think they're sending Carl for some backing-up lessons so he doesn't hit anyone elses motorhome instead.

I soooo hope more of them get this car figured out so we can watch some GOOD racing again.
