NO O LIKE JIMMY O

Per RW.

it was just a racing deal ... no harm, no foul. Well, maybe no foul but definitely Chris Madden was a little upset and he showed his displeasure under caution as he pulled alongside of Jimmy Owens and made a hand gesture (or two) and also brushed his No. 44 over against the side of Owens' No. 20.

Basically what happened is, with Owens leading and Madden in hot pursuit racing off turn two down the backstretch into the third turn, Madden drove off deep into the corner to stick the nose of his car under Owens. But Owens kind of chopped Madden off and "Smokey" looped his car instead of running over Owens and possibly wrecking the both of them.

Security (Greene County Sheriff's Deputies) that we have present at the track each week was called to go into the backside pits just to make sure order was kept and no actions were taken. And no trouble happened. When National Dirt Digest's Brian McCleod and I talked with Owens at his hauler following the race, I asked Jimmy if he'd talked with Chris. He said he hadn't, that he was just going to let cooler heads prevail and he'd talk with him tomorrow. Jimmy said he didn't realize Chris had drove off into the corner the way he had, and that he'd already set his car up and had it turned. Jimmy said, "It's just one of those deals, and I hate it happened. I guess Chris and his guys are upset, but there was nothing deliberate on my part."

im glad JIMMY O won...like to c others get their due....

@ Cherokee...madden didnt mind blocking.. JD when he went hi during the take off....
