Besides Shrub and Mr. Ed, who stands a chance of winning tonite?

I think Kesolowski might take it.

I would love to see Keselowski take it, altough ORP isnt his best track(albeit in a small sample size).

Kudos to Trevor Bayne! The wife and I met him at Bristol a few years ago and he is a great kid. I hope he can keep it out front all night.

I love IRP --- I know, it's ORP. :p

MrTRL and I went in 1999 and had a blast. We did the whole nine yards. All 3 races at IRP, then the big race at Indy. The midget races were a blast --- Kenny Irwin, Tony Stewart and others were there.

Nah! It is still IRP. I was there in 99. We camped just south of the Coke lot and had a great time. My wife complained about the $2 shuttle fee. I still rib her about it... :D

A question I have always pondered...if they expanded seating capacity at ORP, if possible(although leave the grass berms for people to sit and camp), would it be the better venue for a Cup race?

I was there in '94 and '96. Took in all the races then too. What I remember the most is losing my battery lid from scanner through bleachers and friends had to crawl under to retrieve it.:D

Great race! Glad Edwards won over Busch, but I would have rather seen a Nationwide regular win. They need to do something about these guys who come from big teams and are among the top tier of cup drivers taking over this series. Enough is enough! I don't mind the drivers who aren't usually up front in cup racing in it, but I'm tired of the others taking away from the regulars.

I was pulling for one of the young guys. :growl:

You're right, it's gotten old. It's been old for three years now. NASCAR has ruined the Nationwide Series.

I wish they'd get rid of either Nationwide or Trucks and start running them as far away from the Cup races as possible. At the very least, make it as hard as possible for the Cup guys to run the Nationwide races. NASCAR went out of their way today to cater to the Cup guys so they could run the Nationwide race.

ORP is usually a good race but I just lost all interest in watching the rerun after hearing a Cup guy won again.

I did hear Brad Keselowski wrecked Lagasse. And from what I was told, it was as intentional as it gets. IF that's the case, someone needs to whip his ass before he kills somebody. He's tried to dump Allgaier a few times because Allgaier didn't roll over for him.

It did look very intentional. Lagasse was pissed and you got to feel for the guy, he is getting kicked out of his car now and he ends up getting dumped for no reason way too early in the race. I don't care much at all for Keselowski and this made me dislike him even more.

After watching a recap of the race, I'm convinced Kez intentionally wrecked him. He didn't make any attempt to lift or anything, he just flat drove through him. Sucks for Scott Lagasse man.

I'm also convinced Steven Wallace is the biggest idiot in NASCAR and he shouldn't be allowed near a racecar.

I'll give it a 9.9

Was a great race, all things considered. Mainly the cameras focused on who was racing and not the leader who was 2 seconds ahead of everyone else.
The guys in the booth were Ok too. There were just enough yellows and side-by-side restarts to make the raceing good.
I wish all our NASCAR races were displayed to us as good as that one was.
Betsy:rolleyes:

Great race and well done by ESPN. I was rooting for Trevor.
My nomination for Bonehead of the race is the pace car, pulling out too soon causing the leaders to spin.

Even though Flipper won, it was still a great race. I love that track.
Reminds me of the way the Busch series used to be.
