scores and predictions????

I say USC over OSU by 10. Should be a great game.:beerbang:

My heart says Ohio State by 14 or so. My mind says Ohio State looked downright awful against Ohio U last week and if they don't play much better against USC it could be an absolute blowout by the Trojans. I won't be shocked either way, but I may be heartbroken.

My official prediction is Ohio State by 2 points.

NO beanie wells against Ohio U last week right? Having your big bruising running back will definately help OSU this week.

That absolutely will make a difference IF he is back for this game. All indications are that he will be back and healthy. I love Beanie, he played his high school ball about 3 miles from my house here in Akron. He is a great guy and a tremendous ballplayer. That being said, if our offensive line blocks like they did against Ohio U, then it won't matter much. I don't think that will be the case though. They have a week to figure out what happened in that game and block much better. They also don't need to open up huge holes for Beanie. He is huge and freakishly fast for a guy his size.

Wells is supposed to play. With him OSU has a chance. Without him maybe they should just mail it in and save the travel money. Either way I'd take USC and give the points.

As much as I hate it I agree with you!!

I have a sneaking suspicion that Jim Tressel has a few surprises for USC that may involve a whole lot of Terrelle Pryor. The kid is a true freshman in only his third college game but he is a tremendous football player who has a strong history of stepping it up in big games including high school football and basketball playoff games. He looked so natural and comfortable in his first game that it was hard to believe he had never played a college game before.

I still don't know for sure if OSU wins it, but I really hope for a great game either way.

Now they are saying that Beanie Wells will be a game-time decision due to his foot injury having flared up at practice on Wednesday. I wish we could just get a freakin' break once in a while.

I think Ohio State has gotten several breaks by playing in the championship game for the past two years....:D

Ohio State 27
US(overfreakinrated)C 24

I'll be bulling for your boys tomorrow night...hope to see them "Takin' Care Of Business".:beerbang:

That'll be the easiest way to get to that #1 spot, and I'm all for it. For once in my life (hmmm, sounds like a song) I'm rootin' for dem Buckeyes. :beerbang:

I don't think it was much of a break for them to get into the game last year. They clearly did not belong in that game and it showed when they got destroyed. The year before, they were clearly the best team in the country going into the BS Championship game, but Florida just came ready to play and the Buckeyes didn't.

Sorry to see those Buckeyes go down like they did. Are they as good as they were thought to be? Or is USC that good? I don't see anyone in the Pac 10 to be them, but anything can happen.

This game was so disappointing! I was going for USC I admit, but I really wanted to see a good game last night, not a blow out. :(

I said I was afraid of something like that happening all along. I am a huge Buckeye fan, but I am also a realist. They don't have the team speed to compete with a team like USC. Beanie Wells would have made some difference as they could have made it more of a power game, but he certainly would not have made a 32 point difference. They also shot themselves in the foot with penalties when the game was still close.

I can live with the Buckeyes being a top 10 team, beating Michigan, winning the Big Ten and playing in the Rose Bowl. They might have been better off just playing in the Rose Bowl last year anyway. I'm still excited for the rest of the season even though a national title is now out of the question. They are still a fun team to watch.
