Eagle1 and I met Joanie at the track at the usual place.
Funnel Cake Place. LOL DE_W2 and Cutiepie know about that
neat stand too :D !!!
Eagle1 went to the autograph signing and got some great driver stuff
as well as pics he took. Maybe he can post some here.
Kerry Earnhardt ran in the Grand National West, (Old Winston West Series).
He ran a black version of the NAPA car carring the number 20.
Kerry wasn't at the autograph signing as they had him in a
Special Hospitality suite thing. There were several Make-A- Wish
kids there with their families and chaperones. The head guy of the group did
the Anthem. He w as really pretty good too!!!!!
Kerry finished 7th I think and Austin Cameron won.
All in all, we had a great time!!!!! :lol: :rolleyes: :D
Sorry we didn't see DE_W2 and Cutiepie. :(
 
Yes you're right. We missed him too. We did talk
about him and wondered if his photos from the
last race we saw him were as good as usual.
Looking forward to seeing some of them too.
 
dragonlady, sounds like you had a great time. One of these days, maybe I'll make it out to CA.

Glad to hear Kerry did well. And that is great about Austin Cameron. :)
 
Sorry guys.. .I am on vacation in Cape Cod...... wish I was there. The only they race here are wheel chairs.
 
W.O.P. well hurry and get your cutie patootie back here in time
for All-Star Night in November. Got another friend who's son will be racin that night.
They are back east and this trip is really gonna cost them.
But they are really looking forward to coming to Calif.
Wayne Bowen will be driving.
We are also going in October to the Grand National again.
Sure do like Irwindale. LOL
