OUTBACK RACING TEAM SUPPORTS OPERATION HOMEFRONT

SAN ANTONIO – The Outback Steakhouse Racing Team, led by #39 driver Ryan Newman, is the latest way Outback is supporting military service members through Operation Homefront. Fans can show their support of the military by texting “TROOPS” to 90999. With each text message, fans donate $5 directly to Operation Homefront. Go to www.outbacksteakhouseracing.com <http://www.outbacksteakhouseracing.com/> to learn more about the team.

As part of its “Thanks for Giving” program, Outback has donated over $2,000,000 over the past two years in support of our troops and families.

The support through Operation Homefront continues in 2012 with local promotions in select restaurants around the country, and adds the integration with Outback Steakhouse Racing.

“We’re honored to continue our support of military families through our partnership with Outback Steakhouse,” said Jim Knotts, Operation Homefront’s chief executive officer. “The commitment of the company and its patrons has made a difference in the lives of thousands of our service members. The additional integration with their racing team is one more way for Outback to connect with those who defend our freedom.”

Knotts continued, “We wish Ryan Newman and the team great success on the track this year. Noting Ryan’s support of the Army too, it is especially meaningful to be a part of his team as we support our nation’s Soldiers and their families.”

Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit with 23 chapters, provides emergency assistance – including food aid, rent and mortgage assistance, and help with car repairs – to active-duty service members of all branches.

With each text message, $5 will be charged to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your pre-paid balance. Message and data rates may apply. All purchases must be authorized by account holder. Service available on most carriers.

Before anyone says it, Outback never has been, never was and isn't currently owned by Australian's.

Why would we think that? Oh, I get it, Australian Outback. And here I thought it was because they were located out back behind my local WalMart.
You'd be surprised at the number of people who think Outback is was or has been owned by Australians  the owners/investers are originaly out of Tampa Florida where associated with USA Speedway and even associate sponsored on my son's car when he was racing.

This forum is getting way out of line. How about we start something else.

In other news, Burger King isn't owned by England.

According to a paper I wrote in 7th grade about how the future may misinterpret our time period the Burger Kings were on one side of the Burger Wars with the nation of McDonalds were billions and billions served.:D

Crap, you're right. I read that paper. Did you do any papers about pancakes? :D

That was a big mistake. It's obvious you should have used The Three Stooges.
Well I failed the paper (mostly because I didn't read the book and reading 2 pages and the back cover is not a good replacement for that) but more of Israel and Palestine are like the seagulls who kept shouting "Mine!" all the time.

Touche. I forgot about the gulls.
