Put up a few more lights this afternoon. I'm limited because I don't do ladders -- except the short 3-step ones.

I have the lights arranged for the weekend and it will be awesome. I couldn't handle putting lights up at the 3rd story this year and have a repeat of Christmas 2011 where I ended up hanging off the guttering whilst the ladder slid away. Due to it being such a large job I have hired someone to use an access platform to get the job done.

This is exactly why I don't bother to put any lights up on my house, I'll probably just put some up on the trees out in the front yard and if I'm feeling motivated I might wrap some around the columns.

A blue flood light shining on the house works for me and if I stand at the proper angle, I can see my liver glowing on Sunday morning
