Things could get interesting. I can't say that I disagree with him at all. The wrong people are being punished by the sanctions against Penn State. What was levied by the NCAA does nothing to punish those responsible. The courts have/will do that that.

Governor Tom Corbett today announced that he is suing the National Collegiate Athletic Association, calling its sanctions against Penn State University arbitrary and illegal, saying they would result in irreparable economic damage to the university, the commonwealth and its citizens.

I see both sides, but I hate that it's the students who always end up getting punished when the NCAA issues sanctions.

This is a tough one. I understand the economic impact but I have a feeling more than those charged knew, or should have known, something was going on.
But it's NCAA's ball, they don't have to let you play. The governor might find that out if he pushes too hard.

It's the kids that suffer though. People who had scholarships and grants to go to Penn State (and were there before this all went down), they shouldn't be tainted because of the actions of a few. Penn State Board of Directors should fire everyone in every administrative position though.
