Anyone else notice how well he has done the past couple of weeks only to have it washed out by someone else. He ran great with Jr. at Dega for a bunch of laps, he was rolling at Atlanta until he got tied up with some donkeys after a pit stop (caused by Waltrip AGAIN) and he was also doing pretty well at Texas until Gilliland got out of control. Are we seeing some improvement from this guy or what? Make the Chase within the next two seasons?
 
Montoya was good at the plate and 1.5 mile quad ovals out of the box. He just needs to catch up on the short tracks and D-ovals.
 
I hope JPM sticks around NASCAR for a couple years. He creates interest to say the least.
 
I think Juan is a great driver and very good for nascar. He has the talent to make the chase but not with ganassi. Talent only goes so far.

Ganassi's finally putting interest in their Cup program. I think them going to 2 teams is a good thing. Montoya's got talent and he's capable of winning races - the past two weeks have proven that.
 
I agree with y'all. JPM is a good driver and maybe on the verge of making the chase soon.

The past two weeks does not make up for a mediocre season. I think the "Open-wheel phenom" should be a little higher than 25th in points.
I'm not impressed.

Bobby, you know a good car is everything.

If you put your boy Carl in a BAM Racing Dodge, he'd look like Grandma on the Beltway.
 
They had a revolving door at crew chief for the first season and most of this one. Once they settle on someone that clicks with Juan Pablo things will improve, as we've seen recently.
 
He has impressed the hell out of me the last 2 races and I feel sorry for him having disastrous results when he was actually on fire

Technically I guess they still exist.......remember tho they switched to Toyota.......for what , 1 race
