In a news conference, Deanna Favre announced she will be the starting QB for the Packers this coming Sunday. Deanna asserts that she is qualified to be starting QB because she has spent the past 16 years married to Brett while he played QB for the Packers. During this period of time she became familiar with the definition of a corner blitz, and is now completely comfortable with other terminology of the Packers offense. A survey of Packers fans shows that 50% of those polled supported the move.

Does this sounds idiotic and unbelievable to you?
Well, Hillary Clinton makes the same claims as to why she is qualified to be President and 50% of democrats polled agreed.
She has never run a City, County, or State.

When told Hillary Clinton has experience because she has 8 years in the white house, Dick Morris stated "so has the pastry chef".

Betsy;)

Hah, I gotcha Betsy. I'm sending this straight to Hildebeast and when she becomes President you'll be near the top of her enemies list. Just let me say it's been nice knowing you. You can join all those other folks who have crossed the Clintons and mysteriously died or gone missing... :)

Well betsy, Deanna should not have any problems winning this sunday

because the Packers don't play.;)

Really tho it sums it up quite well:cheers:

That just goes to show that the peeps that runs snopes aren't stupid. They don't want to cross Bill and Hildebeast and end up on the list...

Oh, and for those who need more evidence witness this rare pic of her when she wasn't aware a camera was nearby.

Not to turn this too political but for the Dems there is only 1 choice: the Breck girl...

Oh and for those of you leaning towards Barack Hussein Obama I'd just remind you that for the 1st 25 years of his life he was raised as a Muslim. It wasn't until he was in college, and some would argue saw it as politically expedient, that he began to attend a Christian church. But, if he won't honor America during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner does he really deserve your vote?

According to U.S. law, a civilian like Obama is supposed to stand up when the anthem is played, take off his hat, face the flag, and put his right hand over his heart. When in uniform, members of the military can keep their hats on and salute instead of placing their hands on their hearts. The procedure for listening to the national anthem is spelled out in the U.S. Code.

Even if it is from TIME, that picture has been photoshopped.

Next racing season, pay attention to the TV (or look around you if you're there) and take a look at how few actually put their hand over their heart anymore. Heck, probably less than 1% of the racing team members do it, which has ticked me off for some time. Jeff Burton seems to be one of the few racers who actually put his hand on his heart during the anthem.

So to try and single out Obama (and I'm in no way defending him) is a little bit narrow minded.

I would vote for Jeff Burton before I voted for Obama/Clinton/Edwards...

And, before someone asks, no I don't stand in my living room but I do stand at an event and I do put my hand over my heart and silently sing the anthem. (Trust me you don't want me to sing out loud).

before I voted for Obama/Clinton/Edwards...

I would vote for any name picked at random from any phone book in America...
Betsy:rolleyes:

My eyes! *runs screaming for the woods*

Betsy, I'm with you --- almost anyone would be better than the choices we have.

I agree, since i moved back to Ma. I haven't even registered to vote. I was a registered republican for 7 years in CO., but now I see no difference between the two parties. I really don't like any of the candidates and I'm not sure if I am going to vote in this upcoming election....that is pretty sad.

It seems to me that this time around the more important vote will be in the primaries. Figure out who you want, or in my case who you don't want, change your party affiliation, if needed, and then vote early and often.
I remember one year I changed to Dem so I could cast my vote for Jesse Jackson, maybe 1988. I don't believe it was in 1984 as Reagan was the obvious choice but in '88 the choice wasn't as clear. But, each vote for someone you know can't win is a vote taken away from someone who might win. And, that's why the primaries are so important.
Of course, NC is so late in the game our primary seldom makes a ripple...

Same here.

Looking at the online polls though, Ron Paul stands a chance.

Oh, I definitely play the switch party game to vote against someone.

This time around, my vote is more against someone than it is "for" someone.

Yeh i know what you mean , but that doesn't do anything to solve the problem of electing some one that can actually do the right things for this country.
