Went a local asphalt track last night. Real Small, 1/5 of a mile, but the put some decent racing on. The only reason I ever really go there is because it is so close. There feature event of the night was a figure 8 demo derby. Now I have nothing against a good old fashioned muddy demo derby, but this was on an asphalt track. These guys were nuts and had no fear. They were ramming each other at 30+ mph. Some real scary hits. They were lucky no one was hurt.

I love Demo Derbys. We went to two this week at the fair. Some really good hits and hubby supplied a lot of the cars for it. Put several people on the wall and almost flipped one. Glad hubby doesn't drive I don't think I could watch. He drove two years and I almost didn't go.
