Found one on ebay for real cheap, a $450 unit (used) for $60. This things is just awesome, anyone else have one?

Nope. Not sure I have a need for one. Heck, I just got a cell phone a few months ago. Don't really need that either but it's nice to have.

and what do you do with it paul?? besides the cool games?? i never found a use for one so i doubt i'll ever get one..

Appointments, phone numbers, read news headlines when I'm away from my computer, send email, read email, make grocery lists etc etc :)

Its nice if you're gonna use it. My dad has one which he uses alot for remembering appointments and such and he likes it alot. I, on the other hand, like it for the games. :D

I don't know the names of them, but they're ok. They're the kinda games you get bored 5 minutes into them.

When my dad gets home, I'll check it out. What kind of palm pilot is it?

Yeah, my dad loves his. I made him a cover made out of jeans for Christmas.

My cell phone will do almost as much as a palm pilot and it doesn't weigh as much or take up as much space. Kind of cool those things though, if you use them for what they are intended to be used for. Have fun!

Paul, my dad has a Palm m130, which he bought for $200 new. He said $60 bucks is a great buy and that you should go ahead and get it. The only game on his is hardball.

He's got a good one, I guess the m series ones have more memory so there can be more stuff. I don't really use the games, but it is just awesome!

i got one too, there pretty spiffy. I just like checking my email cause i sell alot on ebay.

I use one at work. It reads bar-codes, has net access, is an alarm clock, mileage tracker, low resolution camera, scheduler, phone-book, inmate tracker, parts catalog, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

400 mhz cpu, 128mb RAM, windows CE?, rubber covered metal case, leather holster.

About a grand each, our maintenance dept has 15 of them. They are tied into the Caver Moorehead preventative maintenance system we use.

They are one of those things that you wonder how you made it without one. The paperless office is cool and so far no one has become bored with them, the guys didn't resist the new tech as we thought they would.

Take 12 highly skilled maintenance mechanics with each having over 20 yrs experience in their respective fields, give them a portable computer, and you can expect some resistance. They were skeptical at first about being spied on, but quickly learned how to manipulate the data just like they did when we did it all on paper.
