I was surprised, also. In the paper this morning, the local sports writer was saying that Palmer had a slim to none chance.

I thought Magahee was the most impressive player I saw this year and the most deserving. But, I have no problem with Palmer getting it. He had a great year. Magahee being a sophomore probably hurt him as much as anything else did.

I think they all deserved it. However I was really pulling for LJ. I have alot of respect for that kid.

LJ had my vote too. He'll make somebody a winner in the NFL.

I didn't see how people thought Doorsey of McGahee had a chance. You knew their votes were going to get split up. On the college board I took alot of heatr for picking Dorsey third.

LJ just about got every other award he could get, a shame he couldn't get the Heisman.
